Financial Controller

We are currently recruiting a financial controller for a well-established manufacturing company in growth in Centre-du-Québec.

Reporting to the financial director, you will play a key role in managing accounting operations, financial analysis, and supervising a small team.

Main Responsibilities

• Take charge of the month-end process (entries, provisions, reconciliations)
  

• Ensure the reliability and integrity of financial data
  

• Participate in the implementation of an ERP
  

• Analyze results and explain variances
  

• Participate in budget preparation and KPI tracking
  

• Supervise and support a small team
  

• Collaborate with management to improve processes and tools
  

• Participate in audits and year-end closings
  

• Manage certain tax obligations (GST/QST, DAS)
  

Desired Profile

• Bachelor's degree in accounting
  

• 2 to 3 years of relevant experience
  

• Good mastery of Excel
  

• Understanding of the complete accounting cycle
  

• Analytical mindset and rigor
  

• Autonomy and sense of responsibility
  

Assets

• Experience in supervision
  

• Knowledge of Power Query or Power BI
