Job Description

Main Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, and review audit engagements, primarily of daycare centers;
  • Plan, execute, and review review engagements;
  • Plan, execute, and review compilation engagements;
  • Prepare and review personal income tax returns;
  • Prepare corporate income tax returns;
  • Constantly collaborate on client retention and, if interested, business development.
  • Mentor and support junior team members in the execution of their engagements.
  • Participate in the development of internal procedures and the continuous improvement of the firm and its management system. Quality
  • Collaborate closely with partners on complex cases or special mandates (restructuring, mergers/acquisitions, estate planning, etc.)

Desired Profile

  • Designation: CPA Auditor (required)
  • 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in a public accounting firm
  • Excellent command of accounting standards for private companies (ASPE) and accounting standards for not-for-profit organizations
  • Comfortable working with various industries (holding companies; service and retail businesses; non-profit organizations; daycares; manufacturing and processing)
  • In-depth knowledge of personal and corporate taxation
  • Pleasant, frank, and open-minded personality
  • Do Demonstrated excellent judgment, teamwork, and the ability to integrate easily into a group. Excellent proficiency in Caseware, Caseview, Taxprep, and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent ability to manage priorities and work independently. Client-focused and committed to quality service. Good level of spoken and written French. Why join this firm?
